Chapter Two

In Japan Technician Mioko Takamada pulled hard on the tiny shuttles hatch, while her co-workers pushed from the other side. With Red Brigade already climbing the gantry her supervisor had ordered her, the only woman on his team, thus the smallest of them into the ship. If they couldn’t hold the attackers off it was her job to insure that Red Brigade never got hold of the capsule in working condition. She shivered as the hatch closed with a thump. She was now alone on a spaceship, sitting above hundreds of thousands of liters of high explosive that could go off any second.

Locking down the hatch and jamming a prybar one of her friends had given into the lock her she effectively sealed herself from the outside. Climbing over a set of seats to the command deck she strapped into the pilots seat. Not only would it probably be her only chance to ever do so, it was the furthest and safest point from her attackers that she could get. Fearfully she waited in the capsules dim light.
